I downloaded mc command center and all my saves were deleted

I downloaded the mc command center for sims 4 on my mac, and all my saved games were deleted. I found my saves in the sims 4 folder on my mac, but when I open the game they do not show up, and it seems as if it is the first time I am opening the game. I had come really far in the game, how do I get my saves back?

    Please could you click on your saves folder once to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of your saves folder here.
