Installed Lovestruck and my game crashes

Hello! 

Just bought lovestruck and when playing, after around 45 minutes of playing, the game crashes in a strange way. Time freezes, and I'm stuck on a sim, it doesn't let me change my sim control unless I click esc button. I can save the game but if I go to main menu game fully freezes on the loading screen and I have to force quit the game. 

I play on Macbook, have all the expansion packs and some game and stuff packs.
