journey to Batuu pack not loading

Product: The Sims 4 Platform:Mac Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? (UPDATED) 1.66.139.1...

    Thanks. Yes, you need to run the Legacy Edition as your Mac does not support Metal. You will not be able to run Journey to Batuu. Maybe see if EA will give you a refund? https://help.ea.com

    @Bluebellflora thanks for this information, but wouldn't it have been nice if EA informed users that if you have the Legacy Version installed, you shouldn't download the Star Wars: Journey to Batuu Game Pack.??

      System requirements in Origin state a Metal supported Mac is required:

      MINIMUM SPECS:
      OS: Metal required. Mac OS® X 10.11 (El Capitan)
      CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz Processor or better
      RAM: At least 4 GB RAM
      HARD DRIVE: At least 15 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
      VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, AMD Radeon RX 560 or better
      INPUT: Keyboard and Mouse
      ONLINE REQUIREMENTS: Internet connection required for product activation.

        OS: MacOS High Sierra v10.13.6 (21.5 inch - mid 2011)

        Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

        Memory: 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3

        Hard Drive: 600GB

        Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512MB
