Kernel Panics and Crashing w/ Sims4 and Origin
I started playing sims a month or two ago and had no problems until about two weeks ago. My MacBook Pro started having Kernel Panics only when playing the game and now frequently just crashes saying "Sims 4 quit unexpectedly". This happens, most of the time, within 5-10 minutes of playing, but sometimes I can play longer, but I never end up exiting the game myself because it crashes. I have done everything possible to try and combat this but nothing has worked.
We have
- Put my Mac in safe mode
- Reset NVRAM
- Deleted and re-downloaded both Origin and Sims
-Updated it to Catalina
- Completely reinstalled it
And so many other things but nothing is working.
I did originally have some mods downloaded but deleted them completely when I started having problems.
We are almost completely out of ideas.
