Kernel Panics and Crashing w/ Sims4 and Origin

I started playing sims a month or two ago and had no problems until about two weeks ago. My MacBook Pro started having Kernel Panics only when playing the game and now frequently just crashes saying ...

@Bluebellflora I almost always have my Mac on my desk.

The game sometimes just crashes to the desktop, but sometimes kernel panics as well. My laptop with also kernel panic if Origin is just in the background. But never if both origin and sims are completely closed out.

Ok. Try a NVRAM reset - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204063 A SMC reset may also be worth doing - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201295
