I'm playing on version 1.118.242.1230. Just as the title states, the game is running poorly on this version and now when I run the game in full screen mode, I can only get 30 fps. My fps usually stays around 60 when I'm in windowed. I'm experiencing random lag spikes and when a sim turns on a computer or television, the game lags severely. The fps drops to around 26. I am not playing with mods or any expansion packs, this is all happening on base game.
My game was installed in the normal directory on Mac, I did not change the location or do anything differently. I have uninstalled and re installed this game multiple times. I really don't want to give up but I was not expecting the game to run so poorly on a 16GB computer, even if it is a MacBook Air.
Also, my storage isn't full. I still have 117.94 out of 245.11GB left.
