ORIGIN NO LONGER SUPPORTED
So I haven’t logged on to play sims 4 in a WHILE and once I did I learned Origin is no longer supported and was prompted to download the EA app. However I have a MAC BOOK 2013 I think??? It was a gift idk. It can’t update ANYMORE. I’m stuck in MAC Sierra os 12.6 or something like that. I can’t download the EA app because it need MAC Catalina 🥺 but I can’t use origin… SO I CANT PLAY SIMS 4!!! HELP! What do I do?? Is there a way I can play or am I doomed to live the poor man’s life of longing?Glitching once I return to the home lot. HELP!!
I have no mods or cc, but for about the past month, if I have my sim go to any other lot & then return back home, the screen starts glitching and I can’t do anything else. I’ve cleared my cache, repaired the game & deleted the localthumbcache.package, so I’m at my wits end & don't know what to do. I’m not tech savvy so any help would be greatly appreciated.Mods won't show in game!
I last played Sims 4 on 11th May with my 5 gen family as normal. I opened Sims to play some more yesterday and my save was missing. I closed the game and reopened but my save sill did not load. Eventually, I accepted that I will just have to start a new save - not ideal as I loved my save but it is what it is. I also noticed that my mods weren't showing on startup like usual, and they weren't showing in CAS. I thought it was the way my game was saved on my hard drive so I removed it, uninstalled the game, reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled the game on it. Now when I have opened the game today, my mods still aren't showing in game but they are all in the correct folder like they were before this happened. I can't find anything online of this happening and I have no idea how to fix it! I'm upset that my game has reset itself but if I can get my mods to work, then I can create another save. Any help or tips is hugely appreciated :)mods and cc content doesn't work after latest update :(
has anyone experienced this? I have reset the custom content settings in game and restarted it. Nothing shows up in the mods list! and all the cc content is gone. The files are in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Please let me know :(Sims4 Saves Folder moved after Mac Update
Help! My MacBook automatically updated overnight and now my Sims4 is showing brand new with no "load game" options. I see in my finder folders there are files under "Saves" but I believe they're all in the incorrect place since it's not loading when I launch the game. Does anyone have a SS of how the sims4 folder and saves folder should look on a MacBook? Or am I completely losing my sims4 saves the past 3 years?
