Crash
hi. I updated and repaired my game, but when I go to the main menu and click on new game, the screen stays white, nothing happens no matter how long I leave the game open. When I click on load game and select a house to move in, in a world, the loading screen shows and nothing happens just like when I say new game. What should I do?
Broken Update
Hello, I was wondering what to do about a broken update. It updated all the way until 99% but it will not finish the update. it froze and hasn't been fixed since. I have tried everything. I have tried updating my macbook, rebooting it, and deleting and redownloading the EA app. I tried clearing my cache. Nothing is making it fixed. What can I do? Please help...
Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged.
I have been getting the error message "Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged.If you have Mods installed please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin" ever since the most recent update. I have no mods or CC downloaded. I have gone through the support help 4 times, which involved "repairing," uninstalling the EA app from my mac, uninstalling the sims 4 from my mac, reinstalling them, etc. My game still will not even load. The advisor recommended posting on the forum for help.Grim Reaper Week2 Update Causing Main menu Problems
Ever since I updated my game for Grim Week 2 it started this little pop-up that comes up fine but when I go to PLAY the game and click off the pop up it greys out my whole main menu screen so it where I can click continue my household or anything- (and it's not the main menu mod because it happened before I even put it in.)
Game is lagging after update
I haven't played sims in a while, since before the very first lovestruck update. anyway, I just updated two days ago, and my game won't work. The game opens and runs okay, it was taking longer to load than usual. I was able to use CAS. But when it came to playing, none of my sims would listen to what I told them. They would just randomly start dancing. One sim was in the front yard but the game said she was playing video games. I completely deleted all of my mods and cc (after backing up) and was still having the same problems. It's super frustrating.
