"Are you using an external display? If so what is the size and resolution:" No, I am using the regular MacBook Air 13inch display.
"Does this happen in windowed and fullscreen mode or just one?" Both. In fullscreen I'm now only getting 30 fps after the recent Sims 4 update. In windowed I get around 60, unless someone turns a tv or laptop on, or even sometimes when there are a lot of sims on one lot, for example going to the park. When any of these happen, I drop to 35 FPS or as low as 20 FPS.
This is with no mods, and only a few stuff packs. However, this issue occurs even when I use completely vanilla gameplay without mods, or any expansion packs.
Thanks! Could you share your save for testing? Upload it to a file sharing site and PM me the link :)
