The same issue with M3 Air
M3 MacBook Air
16GB memory
macOS Sequoia 15.5
CPU 8 Cores (4 performance, 4 efficiency)
GPU 10 Cores
The game runs extremely slowly, even on Medium graphics settings and 1080p (windowed and fullscreen, with retina disabled, etc.).
FPS drops from 60 to 40 and lower each second.
I installed the fresh game for the first time from the EA App.

Could you share your save with me to test? Upload to a file sharing site and PM me the link to download.

Bluebellflora There's nothing to share. I just downloaded a game and started a new one with a random character to test productivity. Like an empty save. But I can share it with you if you need it

Yes please. The reason I ask is because I play on an M1 MacBook Air and M4 Max MacBook Pro and both are fine with my saves. Another good test you could try is setting up a new user account on your Mac and playing the save in that account. Launch the game in the new account and a new EA > TS4 folder will be created in Documents. Quit, copy your save from the saves folder in your usual Mac account by either copying it onto a USB or using the shared folder in Macintosh HD > Users > User account and then put it in the new saves folder. This would be an interesting test as it is a completely new user account with clean Library folder. When making the new user account keep it as simple as possible, you don't need to setup iCloud or anything.

Seems like it got worse after the recent update.

That's very disappointing. Worse as in new issues or the existing issues are worse than they were? Did you try the new user account on your Mac?
