Live and build buy mode camera rotation shortcuts are bugged

I recently switched over to my M1 iMac from a laptop running Windows, got The Sims 4 and realized the camera shortcuts I've become so accustomed to use on Windows were completely broken for the Mac version of the game.

For The Sims 4 camera setting the following shortcuts work as such:

Command + A and Command + D: Does nothing
Control + A and Control + D: Rotates the camera as intended
Control + W and Control + S: Does nothing
Command + S: Does nothing

Conmmand + W: Brings out the save game menu

For The Sims 3 camera setting the following shortcuts work as such:
Command + A and Command + D: Does nothing
Control + A and Control + D: Rotates the camera as intended
Control + W and Control + S: Does nothing
Command + S: Rotates the camera as intended
Command + W: If w and command are pressed at the same time brings out the save game menu, if w is pressed first and then command is pressed rotates the camera

I really hope this issue is fixed soon as it's making live and bb mode extremely annoying to play for me right now.

    But isn't the issue simply one of familiarity? You've switched operating systems. It's like having to get accustomed to using the CMD key instead of the CTRL key in macOS when switching from Windows to Mac, unless you change Modifier keys in System Settings.
