I recently bought the cottage living pack and actually played with it, I stopped for a month and when I went back in to play with it I had all my packs except the cottage living one. I then watched a few videos on YouTube to try and get it back into my game and now I have lost my saved games. Please help!!! I know it has something to do with the files but im so lost and confused

Can you remember what the video told you to do? Because the game installation is completely separate from where your saves are and should not have been affected.
Open Terminal in Applications > Utilities and copy and paste this command then hit Enter/Return,. It searches for all save files in your Mac user account:
find ~ -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/nullIt will take a while and start showing results. Once it has finished the prompt will reappear. Copy/paste all the search results here.
