Expansion/Game/Stuff Packs Not Showing Up
Recently, I realized Sims 4 took up a lot of space on my MacBook, so I put the whole game onto a Macintosh backup hard drive. Now, whenever I play Sims, none of my packs show up in the game, even though I have enabled them. It also does the same for custom content, even if I have pressed allow cc and script mods in the game and have restarted it many times. I'm not sure if I messed up my terminal or not, but I have tried everything and nothing works. Please let me know if anyone can help!
Sims 4 Graphics Glitching
My game has been glitching like this for over 5 months, I have repaired and uninstalled my sims game numerous times, I have removed all mods and this still would keep happening. I have also tried to reset/repair my disk and it still is keeps on glitching. Are there any other steps I can take to fix this problem or am I cursed :((((((( (macOS catalina version 10.15.7)
Build Mode Items Crystal Creations
This is the only way I can figure out how to contact Ea, they keep redirecting me to places without giving me a contact option. For starters, i bought the crystal creations pack when I first got the sims game. I didn't know much about packs at the time but i just saw a youtube video of someone building a house using build mode items for crystal creations which i have never seen when building and I own the pack. i looked in build mode and there is items but they show up as a red X and won't let me place them. i need help trying to figure out how to get them to work, i want my build mode items i cant even use the pack. I have already tried disabling mods which didn't and i knew it wouldn't anyways because i bought it before i ever had any mods.Sims 4 crashing & not working for months
Hello, My Sims 4 hasn't been working for months. I've tried everything I've read on this forum (deleting & reinstalling, repairing, removing mods, not using cheats...) and NOTHING, NOTHING WORKS. I literally cannot access any lot or play more 5 minutes without it just starting to freeze and forcing me to either turn it off or simply crashing (without leaving me the option of saving ofc). Obviously tried to contact EA Help but as usual in vain - still waiting for a reply from the chat service - I don't know what to do at this point and it's seriously frustrating and infuriating as I've spent lots of time playing this game growing up (and deleting and restarting a 100 times just because I was trying to figure out what is wrong) and I feel like at this point I just have to give it up.Hover Text Box Stretching Out?
Believe me, I have absolutely NO IDEA how to describe this, so maybe I'd just better show you instead. See the screenshot I took. It seems to be doing this with items I have created, and on tombstone epitaphs in a graveyard mostly. But it is NOT a Mod issue, because this screenshot was taken when I removed the mods, as well as deleting everything that had the word "cache" in the name. Actually, it has been doing this on my tombstones ever since the Life and Death Pack, now that I think about it, but I haven't brought it up. Sometimes it goes away on it's own when I exit and restart the game, but then it picks it right back up again and does this. Does anyone else have this issue? Since I don't know how to describe this, I don't know how to look for fixes by myself. Please help!
What the **bleep** is going on EA...
Last night I keep getting inconsistent "Error:0" messages rendering the game incapable of saving (but then sometimes it would work), "Unable to connect to server" to upload to my gallery (but sometimes it would work), and some other crazy-**bleep** message about EA checking for game updates in the background for new stuff. I repaired my game, removed all my mods, cleaned out every cache, and when I go to re-boot the home page is showing me some household I've never played and where the household income dollar amount should be, it showed a bunch "W"s criss-crossing and overlapping. My entire saved game was wiped and I can't recover the back-up files I have. I reached out for support via chat and Ricco tells me there's no issues that have been submitted by their studio team. Oh yeah? Then why are the forums and X blowing up with people having the exact same issues as me?! I repeat, WHAT THE **bleep** IS GOING ON EA?!?!! I've given you how much money over the last few years? You all should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves! I WANT A REFUND FOR EVERY GAME IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE A CONSISTENTLY WORKING PRODUCT!!!!!!!
Why is everything is gone or broken
The other day I went to play sims and when I went to play it told me that I had to download the app? I just assumed that it was an update so I went to. After it downloaded all of my saves but 1 were gone. After I moved past that and started a new save, no mods were working. I have everything clicked on the games settings and i'm putting them in the right file. And finally I came to terms with that today and went to play again it made me download the game again and now all of the packs that I've spent so much money on are not working. Ive been on the ea app and tried to manage add-ons but can't see an option to redownload any of them I know there is a bug going round at the moment corrupting games but im just so frustrated and any help would be great appreciated.
