Follow these steps to launch a new clean game and try to narrow down the issue - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163

I tried all of those unfortunately for me it didnt work. but hopefully other simmers that come across this problem cant try those. Any other ideas? ive tried to update all my mods and delete any new ones that might be causing this problem. Hopefully i'll figure this out and not have to unistall all my mods and start from scratch.

Forget about Mods for the moment, this is the Mac tech forum, for Mac specific help with technical aspects of the game, there is a separate forum for Mod issues which I can move your thread to if your only problem is Mod related and not Mac specific.
I understand you don't want to uninstall your Mods but you need to try a completely clean Sims 4 folder as linked in my previous post. Only once the clean vanilla game is able to load should you be adding your Mods back in bit by bit, testing to see if the game loads.
Does your game load successfully when you move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop and a new one generates?
