Mac Origin app - can't load game, stuck on white screen

I had a break from playing from the end of July until now (20/9/24), and after updating my game and the origin app, my game won't work. Originally, it would let me launch the saved game already there but would not let me into CAS (blank white screen - music still playing). I then updated all my mods and it still wouldn't work, along with not letting me launch a new game. I took out my mods and save files and tried the game fresh and it would let me start a new game and into CAS but froze when trying to save the household. I'm now at the stage where it won't even let me launch a new game and just has a white screen with the music playing in the background. I've repaired the game, restarted my Mac, signed in and out of Origin, reinstalled Origin, switched Origin off in game, reinstalled the game. I'm at my wits end - someone PLEASE HELP.
