[MAC] sims 4 says 'application not responding' couple minutes after opening

When you say delete everything, do you mean removing the Sims 4 folder completely? If so one or more of your user files is the issue. Move out the folder and put the files back one at a time to test which one, or more, is causing this. It only works if I take the whole folder out but when I put anything back, the issue is back

Even just one save? Have you tested each save individually?
