Oh, sorry forgot to say that the settings I've changed was that I wanted to see how the game would feel with laptop mode..and after that I couldn't play the game again until I've reinstalled origin and the game..then I played with everything on custom like 2 or 3 times until origin updated and after that I couldn't play again at all even after reinstalling everything.
If you change any settings in the future which then render the game unplayable simply go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and trash the Options.ini file. The game recreates a new one on default settings. The Intel HD 4000 has had problems with the game ever since Sims 4 was released unfortunately but you should still be able to play on low settings.
Can you do the super repair, hopefully that will work:
- In your Applications folder right click on the Sims 4 app and select Show Package Contents.
- Navigate to Contents > Mac OS.
- There may be two files in there. Right click on The Sims 4 and select Move to Trash. Don't drag the file as it will only move an alias and leave the original in place. Leave the other file, if there is one, The Sims 4.par alone.
- Now open Origin, click on The Sims 4 in your Games Library and click on Download.
