It will get hot, it doesn't have a fan. But the M1 chips are very efficient. It's not a gaming machine by any means but I have the game plus all packs installed and it plays well.

@BluebellfloraIf I use cooling pad /fan instead, it will be a good choice? Or shoud I buy Macbook pro m1? Did you have any information about MBP M1 ? And did you have all expansion pack of thesims 4? May I ask what ram and what your storage ?

    Personally I would never buy a 13”MBP and instead wait until they bring out the proper Pro machine, 15”/16” and next gen. M chip. I have the M1 Air for portability and travel. It’s a bonus that it runs the game so well 🙂

        Yeah of course. Anything that may help keep the machine cool is good.
