The public release of Big Sur comes out today, so I'm probably a bit early in asking if things are working, but I wanted to check back here to see if anyone had success running Origin/Sims 4 on later versions of the beta? Curious to know if EA had a team using the beta to prepare their software to work with the new OS or if it's just an afterthought to them.
I have been running Big Sur for over a month (+ all the updates). Aside from the iMac issues that began after the 9/2020 patch (even on Catalina) everything would load. Despite having a virtually unplayable game it actually functioned better on Big Sur than it did on Catalina. Since the 11/2020 patch I haven't had any issues yet.

Hi!
I update my mac yesterday, i'm now on MacOs Big Sur 11.0.1 and I just can't run Origin on it.
I have to say that it's not understandable to me because I was beta tester for Big Sur since July and I could play on the sims 4 until this week with it.

Which build version? If you're still running the beta it will be a build or two ahead of the public release.- 5 years ago
I’m with the public release right now on macOs, I believed that the Origin server will be able to carry the 11.0.1 directly after MacOs public Release
