Since updating my Mac to the lastest MacOS catalina sims has been unbable to open but was previously on MacOSMojave. an error box keeps popping up. origin is still able to open

The Sims 4 continues to receive "Not Optimized for Your Mac" warnings because not everything has been updated to be 64-bit, specifically, the ActivationUI.app. In other words, there are still components that will stop functioning with the next macOS update (Catalina, due out this Fall).

When is it expected that this component will be updated?

The Sims 4:
