Make objects bigger/smaller - Macbook

MAKE OBJECTS BIGGER/SMALLER - MACBOOK

I have a problem with making my objects bigger / smaller. I've tried several option with my keyboard (polish one), but nothing has worked.

I have used:

-"bb.moveobjects on"

-"testingcheats true".

-every letter/number/sign on keyboard with and without command/option/control

-combination button: [ + ] ( + ) * + -

When I'm using keyboard on my daily activities (beside ts4) square brackets are working properly.

Please help me ☹️

    • The MOO cheat must be enabled to use this function. (As far as I remember. This is per time of entering a lot.)
    • Not all objects can be enlarged or shrunk properly with this method (ie: windows, mirrors).

@Sansenvie What items are you trying to enlarge or shrink? If you place a floor-type potted plant in a room, will it work on it?

If you exit the game and re-enter and try in a different, new game save can you do it then?

Do you have Mods or CC?

You can try a game repair and see if that changes this behavior:

    Spoiler
How to run a game repair:
    • Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game
    • Let it run until it has completed all repairs. It will do the base game first, then run through each of your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and Kits).

I also found this info: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2019/05/resize-objects/

@Sansenvie I have another recommendation that was passed on to me that you could reference an English Macbook keyboard and find which keys correspond to the English keyboard's bracket keys, then find these corresponding keys on your keyboard and see if these will work.

Note: This is an assumption I made, but maybe it's helpful to mention that you will need to have the item actively selected with your mouse while you are pressing the bracket key with your other hand, plus, as I mentioned, not all items can be enlarged or shrunken.
