@Loupi3 The Mods folder is created automatically in the The Sims 4 folder at:
~/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/
Is this where you're looking to see if the folder exists?

Yes but when i downloaded it recently there wasn’t one at all. i already deleted and reinstalled the sims4 and there was still no mods folder. this time downloading it, in over a year, was weird too. extra “things” that i have never seen when i downloaded the sims 4 before.
i’ll post a screenshot when i get to my computer soon to let you know what i mean.
These are the weird files that got downloaded to my computer when I downloaded The Sims 4 recently. I have never seen these files or had these files downloaded on my computer when I installed The Sims 4 in the past.
