Movement issues

When I click, hold, and drag (on the mousepad) the in-game camera does not move with me. Instead I have to use the keyboard to move the camera. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you for any help! BTW I am playing on a MacBook Air.

How many fingers are you clicking, holding and dragging with?

If you hold down the CTRL key whilst clicking, holding and dragging, does it tilt the camera?

Holding down control does nothing, and I am clicking with one finger.

Thank you so much for the help, and very sorry for the late replies.

Perfect, it's working now! Has the one-finger camera movement been disabled? And if so, is there a way to get it back? Thanks so much for the help, its been so great!

    Great ๐Ÿ™‚

Was using one finger ever a thing? I use the arrow keys to move the camera around but when I have solely used the trackpad itโ€™s always been two fingers. I wonder if itโ€™s defined by your choices in System Settings > Trackpadโ€ฆ. Have a look there and post screenshots if you like so we can compare.

Just solved the entire problem, turns out that I was using the Sims 3 camera instead of my usual Sims 4 camera lol. Sorry to hassle you like this but thank you so much for the help that you provided, I really appreciate it๐Ÿ™‚

Oh yes, and that could be a reason too! I forget I'm always using the TS3 camera. Glad you figured it out ๐Ÿ™‚
