My game keeps feeezing!

Hi, 

I am playing the Sims 4 and for the past couple of days, my sims game will only let me play a few minutes before it freezes and shows me the pinwheel thing macbooks do. I have taken out all of my custom content and mods, repaired the game a few times, I deleted the thumb cache folder or whatever, I even tried completely deleting and reinstalling the game. It just stays in this loading state forever, and on my taskbar it says application not responding. Please help its killing me!!
