My sims 4 keeps crashing at loading screen (Mac)

Hello,

So I have had this mac for a while now, its the latest mac i'm pretty sure (probably wrong but thats besides the point) and I got the sims a few months ago and I've been able to play it just fine, I've had a few issues here and there but they've been fixed. But the issue i'm having right now cannot be fixed. So I press the origin application and then click 'play' on the sims 4. The game loads and then when it says "TheSims4" in the loading, the game just freezes. The screen doesn't change. The main menu music is playing but the screen is still on the loading screen. I wait for half an hour, and it still doesn't load. I tried everything! I tried uninstalling origin, I tried repairing the sims! (Please note that I own the city living and Get Together expansion pack and kids room stuff, Parenthood game packs) I own custom content but I've played the sims with cc and it still worked. Please help me! I'll do anything to play the sims again!

    Sorry for the waiting, let me try to help you with this 🙂

    You mention you are using custom content in your game. Let's try if the game loads without it, ok? Please, move your Mods folder to your desktop and then try to open the game.

    Does it load without your mods?
