My sims 4 keeps crashing on my MacBook pro

My sims 4 keeps crashing on my MacBook pro. It opens up but crashes just when it is loading. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it again but it keeps crashing

Thanks. It could be Monterey causing the problems. How did you get on with the new clean game?
