EA App and Origin don't touch the Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder in the Documents folder so that isn't the issue. You shouldn't have moved any saves. The EA Games folder is for game installations, not user data. Move your saves back to the Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder.

Even with moving all the files back, it's still not working. When I launch the game there is only the option for new game

Ok. Could you please post a screenshot of the contents of your saves folder. Make sure the screenshot shows the entire Finder window and the path bar is enabled: Finder > View > Show Path Bar.

Sure. Please let me know if this is not correct. When I launch the game it deletes that save folder and empties all the saves. The only option is for a new game. Then I have to put it back in. It still doesn't work though.

I can't see the path bar at the bottom of the Finder window, please post another screenshot showing it but your iCloud is almost full and if you have Optimise Mac storage enabled, and your internal storage is getting full, it will be pushing files to the cloud, which is almost full. This thread explains the issues iCloud can cause - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mac/READ-FIRST-Saves-CC-Mods-or-Library-items-disappeared-iCloud/m-p/10242133#M45493
