I can’t find my electronic arts or sims 4 folder on mac.
I have reinstalled the game and repairs several times, I’ve opened the game and my saves are running fine so I know file must be somewhere but cannot find!!
screen capture says it’s in my documents folder but it definitely is not.
spotlight search can’t find it and it’s not in the cloud
please help!!
If a Spotlight search can't find it that indicates the folder is in the correct place as it is hidden from a search within the Documents folder (no idea why). Try a full Terminal search - open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
