No mods folder

There is no mods folder in my sims 4 file? All other threads on this say they’re solved but they’re not..I’ve checked everywhere, I’ve been playing the game for over a year. I tried making one that didn’t work...is there a solution for this!? Very boring now without mods.

The Mods folder is automatically created in the Sims 4 folder located in Documents > Electronic Arts. CC must be enabled in the in-game options too.

As I said it isn’t there! Mods are enabled in the game.

Please can you post a screenshot of the contents of the folder you are looking in, clearly showing the other files in the Sims 4 folder.
