One specific save is not loading - file name issue

Question

Having the same issue after updating MacBook pro, but I have two of my save files, but missing the one I use the most

I last played sims about two maybe three weeks ago and have updated since playing. I started up my game hoping to see my three save files as I usually do, however only two of my save files appeared, with the save I use most being completely gone. I've tried repairing the game, starting up a completely new game and everything was fine but my save was still gone. I only use mccc which I tried taking off but nothing changed, I also thought it may be a storage issue but my storage on both my Mac and Icloud has a lot of space. Help would be appreciated!

This save will not load because the OS has added a space and appended the number 2 into the file name. This will be because you cannot have duplicate files with the same name in the same folder, most likely due to being prompted to replace or create a copy of an existing file and choosing create a copy, or iCloud syncing with a delay, or some other syncing:

/Users/ollycusick/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 2.save

These are backups that have the number appended by the OS due to the same reasons as above. If you want to restore this Slot_00000003.save simply remove the space, the number, then the verX so the save is in the correct format for the game to read it:
