New problem. Now my origin is saying that I can't play because someone else is on my account. But I know for a fact, that no one is. It logged me out my computer account. I'm so confused. I already reset my laptop to factory settings and downloaded only Origin to see maybe that was the problem, but I'm still having problems. I'm scared. Does EA hate me or something?? *runs away crying*
Im having this issue as well. I was playing my game and suddenly it froze and my computer restarted. As soon as it booted up again, the first message that popped was that the application was being used by someone else. Its not the usual message that you get when there's another computer using your same account which gives you the option to log in anyway. I can't even launch the app.
I'm having this exact same issue regarding the computer freezing, rebooting and then getting this message. Were you able to find a fix?
No of course not. I’ll launch sims and it would literally log me out my computer and when I try to go back on origin I can’t.

I wasn’t saying it to be rude. 😭 I was just saying. I’m launching sims through origin, and origin is on my desktop. I’ll click on sims and While sims is loading, my computer is being logged out of and im at the sign in screen of my Mac. I’m no longer able to get into origin unless I reset my computer. But that’s what I have to do the entire time with the game. But when I don’t launch the game, my computer runs smoothly. Contacted Apple and they literally went into my computer, reset it to factory, 😭😭😭😭😭, and I still can’t play sims.
I’m it’s the short cut to the app. And I can try safe mode when I get home.
