Re: 🛠️ Opening the Sims 4 cheat console on Mac

hi, i’ve been struggling to open my sims 4 cheats bar in game. whenever i press shift+cmd+c it takes a screenshot. i have read all forums on reddit and on here and took that advice but it still isn’t working. i turned off all my screenshot shortcuts in system preferances and there are no open or running apps in the background that could be using that shortcut. nothing is working and i’m becoming a bit hopeless. someone please help. i play on a macbook air if that helps.

@tammyleigh  There is absolutely a crtl key on a Mac, and @jpkarlsen is absolutely correct, that's the key you need to use to open the cheats console.

I've merged your posts with the master thread for this issue.  Please see the first post on page one if you have any more questions, or if you'd like to see diagrams showing where to find the crtl key on a Mac keyboard.
