@Bluebellflora It is the issue in this thread, the Sierra issue where the game won't open on late 2016 Macs still running Sierra - I've already posted in this thread and all the info is several pages ago.
@Bluebellflora I unfortunately have programs I require for work that haven't yet been updated to work beyond Sierra. I would happily update if I could. Before this I always ran the latest version of Mac's OS but this has got my hands tied, and obviously between work programs or the Sims, I've gotta choose to keep the computer running work programs, lol. So I'm just in this holding pattern of waiting to see who updates first.
