@MaxisJoe I can't make this work. Spent 2,5 hours, had to give up and return to playing in English. Why is changing language SO hard in the Sims?

@laserhedvig If you have trouble changing the language, did you try my fix from page 97?

@Simodon Hello, I tried your method from p 97, but I don’t seem to have any of this files, the only plist file in the origin folder is one I mentioned above and BKFileSystemConfiguration.plist, BKFileSystemItemUTIClass.plist, info.plist and version.plist

@nastyadm I dont mean the origin folder directly, I just searched the whole system for all the .plists out there thats why I specifically named the ones you should be looking for.

@Simodon @MaxisJoe Hi! I have the same problem! Now the game only works in English. I tried your method, I've searched the whole system, and I also looked for library to application support to Origin file, but there is no Installer Data file on my Mac at all. What can I do?

@Simodon You're so kind! Thank you!! I think I've searched the whole Mac for those two files in a right way. And also my Mac system is in Chinese. Would that be a problem? I don't know how to use TeamViewer. If it will cost too much of your time, I don't want to keep bothering you. Thanks again!!!

I tried fixing origin , deleting sims 4 thousands of times also made repair and update still the same !!! I also restarted I'm kinda like giving up man I don't know what to do .... ( I am Mac user )

Thank you, I have now a new user account and there it suddenly worked again in German.
But I want to play it on my original account could you maybe help me with that? I think my user account name and home account name seem to not match and that's why the language problem appeared. How do I fix this?

@13069413 I'm trying something right now for those who don't have the locale file. But try my fix on page 97? It also helps if you enable the option to show your hidden files on mac (there are plenty videos/posts out there if you don't know how to do it) since most .plist won't show themselves otherwise. For anything else you can add me on Origin I may be able to help you.
