I'm getting the 'setLocale.zsh' error. How do i fix this? It's been over a week and i still can't install / play the game. This is very frustrating!
This appears when I try to check if something is wrong :/

So still getting the same error ☹️ Do you have the game and Origin set to Russian? It looks like it from that screenshot but just checking. Yeah, it is in Russian
It seems like it works on English, but not when we try to get other languages?
Yes, both of them. How can I change the language?

Origin - Click on Origin > Preferences in the menu bar. Under the Application tab is the language option.
Sims 4 - Right click on the game in your Origin games library then Game Properties. Click on the Advanced Launch Options and change the language I've changed the language in Origin, but I can't set English in Sims4, it seems that only Russian, Czech and Polish are available :/

I'm not familiar with all the localisations sorry 🙂 hopefully it will be fixed in a future patch. Ugh well, what can I do rn? Who can help me with this matter? Maybe anyone from EA support? 🤐

You could try. If you're happy that you have tried all the troubleshooting steps detailed in this thread, especially the ones from MaxisJoe, then I don't think you have anything else to lose.
