Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 crashing since November 2020 update, NOT CC/Mod related

After I updated the game today, my game has crashed 4 times all about 10 minutes into gameplay. Just completely shuts down. I played for hours yesterday with no issues. I have removed any cc (just a handful of things) and tried repairing game.

Ditto. Game is unplayable. I played for 8 hours yesterday no problems. Patch started, game runs for 1-10 minutes before "The Sims4 has quit unexpectedly" problem starts up.

IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE!!

Im new to playing The Sims on Mac and I was cursing at my Mac blaming apple and wondering why I bought it!!! I understand they’re not gaming laptops but thought it’d run decent enough but now I’m not so sure. I assume this is ongoing with EA bugging it for Mac users? As soon as I updated my game it’s popping up with The Sims 4 has quit unexpectedly and bad access codes. Relieved it’s not just me though and hope they fix it soon!

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?All EP expect for the newest, All Game Packs expect for Batuu, SPA day, Jungle Adventure and some stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The game runs Smoothly until about 30 minutes in
What happens when the bug occurs? Then the game freezes and will not let me do anything (Spinning wheel of death) then it crush. Mostly happened while using the fast live mode, or with build mode while using the new platform tool.
What do you expect to see? I expect this to work as it was working before the update

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? After installing the newest patch

this is exactly what happened to my game, each time i'd play it would run for longer then crash so i have to save it every two minutes. i am glad to hear its not just my game though, just a shame it can't be fixed any sooner ☹️ just installed new pack snowy escape and would like to play with it.
