Does this happen at specific times, for example when sims are using a screen in-game? Or completely randomly in live mode and/or build mode? 

Which specific Mac do you have and OS? Apple > About This Mac.

Did this start after a game update or macOS update or installing or updating new or existing software? Or using a new peripheral?
