Re: Game won't start with cc or mods installed

@EmilieWednesday

Thanks. You've got multiple folders because you have iCloud Drive enabled to store your Documents folder in the cloud. If the game cannot find the Sims 4 folder it will recreate one each time it loads. Are you running low on space on your Mac?

I've also seen other reports about MCCC and WW having the issues you're describing about other mods not working. You would need to look at the creator's sites though for help with that. If you take out MCCC and WW I'm presuming that the other Mods work?

    I have multiple folders inside the mods folder to try to keep track, is that not a good idea?

    I think my storage is fine, but should I not have the EA files in the iCloud drive?

    Ideally no. The file path should be [Users] > [your user account] > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 so the game is storing the data locally on your Mac only.

    When your Mac starts running low on storage it will start storing everything exclusively in iCloud if you have iCloud Drive setup and the box ticked next to Desktop and Documents in System Preferences.

    But your mod issue may be just that, a mod issue rather than directory issue.
