Thanks. Have you modified any of the keys in System Settings? The < and > keys are the correct keys to rotate floor pieces. Not sure why you're using Option and F4 key to make quarter pieces, the controls are CTRL and F.

I have not modified the keyboard settings. Do I need to press control or option when I press < >

No, you just select the floor tile and use < and > or , and .

Hey! I have the answer 🙂
So you need to make sure you're selecting only individual tiles, not the entire room. Then, press the < or > keys to change the direction of the wood. You'll have to fill in all the tiles manually which is a bit annoying, but I hope this helps!
