If you move your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop and then let the game create a new one does your game load? If not, can you please create a new user account on your Mac and see if you can load the game in that account?

hi, i know this comment is from 2018 but i have the same problem and this solution worked for me, but is there any way to bring back my other mods? (this comment id refring to the comment above)

The Mods need to be compatible with the current patch level of the game to work. If you're asking how to get them into the new user account, you can share files in the Public or Shared folders on the same Mac https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchlp1122/mac
