It's a perfectly reasonable question as the error message implies that Origin is active and logged in on another user account on your Mac.

Are you launching the game from your Applications folder? What happens if you open Origin first?

I wasn’t saying it to be rude. 😭 I was just saying. I’m launching sims through origin, and origin is on my desktop. I’ll click on sims and While sims is loading, my computer is being logged out of and im at the sign in screen of my Mac. I’m no longer able to get into origin unless I reset my computer. But that’s what I have to do the entire time with the game. But when I don’t launch the game, my computer runs smoothly. Contacted Apple and they literally went into my computer, reset it to factory, 😭😭😭😭😭, and I still can’t play sims.

Have you tried in a new user account on your Mac? Is the actual Origin app on your desktop or a shortcut to it? It should be in your Applications folder.

You could also try starting up in safe mode - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 then launch Origin and your game.

I’m it’s the short cut to the app. And I can try safe mode when I get home.

Safe mode didn’t work. It did the same thing.
