I cannot get the image to shrink so I hope you can see it, but this is what all 12 of my save files look like. I've tried compressing them to play, as well as making them atlas and nothing seems to work.

Thanks! I can't see it very well but it looks like the file name is what's causing the issue. Saves should end in .save with backup versions ending in ver.1 and upwards. Try with just one save file in the saves folder and see if it will load, try one labelled Slot_00000001.save or Slot_00000002.save or similar. Tried that. The file wont change to a different ending. I even tried changing the file name. My screenshot wont work, but when I click on the file it says this:
Last login: Tue Mar 17 20:53:54 on console
Samiras-MBP:~ samira$ /Users/samira/Documents/Electronic\ Arts/The\ Sims\ 4/saves/Slot_00000001.save. ; exit;
-bash: /Users/samira/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000001.save.: cannot execute binary file

You shouldn't be trying to open the saves. Could you maybe post a clearer screenshot so I can see them better? Everytime I try to post a screenshot it just blows the photo way up. But I have the link below that shows what the exec files look like. If the link doesn't work just search exec file on google images🙂

Thanks. I know what those files look like, I wanted to see a clearer image of YOUR save file 🙂 Is that the file that's loading? What is the exact location of that file? click it once to select it then hold down the CMD key and press the i key. In the window under the general section please copy and paste the full file path next to Where (you can edit out your username). - @Bluebellflora I'm not the brightest but this is what I gathered from what you said.
Kind:Unix executable
Size:2,060,876 bytes (2.1 MB on disk)
Where: Macintosh HD ▸ Users ▸ samira ▸ Documents ▸ Electronic Arts ▸ The Sims 4 ▸ saves - @SamtheSlothh
Yep, and that all looks good.
Is that the save that is loading? Or not loading? It absolutely should be loading as you don't seem to have iCloud Drive pushing everything to the cloud, it looks locally stored.
If it isn't the one loading, can you right click on it, Open With, and choose the game to open it. - @Bluebellflora I'll try that, but whenever I open the sims it just takes me to create a sim. I even created one and checked the different world locations or my houses/other sims and they are not there.

Hmm, it's really strange. Could you attach a save here and I will download it to test? Could you also repair the game and see if that helps? It wont let me attach the save. it says "unsupported extension type". How would I go about fixing the game?
- @SamtheSlothh
Upload to a file sharing site (like iCloud) and DM me the link. I have DMs off but will turn them on temporarily 🙂 - @Bluebellflora It's in my iCloud folder, but how do I get the link so I can send it
- @SamtheSlothh
Login to iCloud in a web browser and navigate to the file in your saves folder.
Click on the icon that looks like a head with a tick on it at the top of the browser window and a small window should pop up.
Click on 'send link' then copy the link and paste it into a DM to me here. - @Bluebellflora Thank you! I sent it 🙂

Got it thanks 🙂 I couldn't get it to load either so I did something I should have done earlier and asked @crinrict (the save genius). She confirmed it is an autosave that is no longer used in the game. It didn't show up as an executable file for me though, just a generic document.
Do you have any others that I can test? @BluebellfloraI can add the others to the iCloud file for sure and I'll send it over. Thank you so much for doing this for me🙂
