Is there any chance you could help me? I lost track of my Electronic Arts folder a few days ago and now I don't see my saves in game. I eventually found the sims folder with everything in it and put it back, but the main menu doesn't show my loaded games. I've tried everything and I feel like I just keep making it worse.
@MaddieB1997 Please make sure you restored the Sims 4 folder to the location the game is actually reading. Here's how to find it:

The file paths must match exactly up to "The Sims 4." To see the path to the folder you restored, right-click it and select Properties > General, then look at the Location.
If this isn't the issue, or you're not sure what you're looking at, please list the file path the game shows you. Please also open the saves folder that contains your saves and post a screenshot of the contents, as in, I'd like to see the save names and dates.
I've had a lot of drama with the game lately and long story short I put my saves that went missing back where they go in the electronic arts and sims 4 folders, but my game still isn't reading in game... Any advice?

Ah ok because it's in the Applications folder. Yes, right click on it, copy, then open the Documents folder and paste it in there.
Okay, can I just delete the alias folder?
Okay, should I open my game to check it now that it's back where it here to be? Something is downloading into my icloud drive, but I can't tell what it is
