How many SSAO values did you change? Could you post a screenshot of the relevant section in your GraphicsRules file? - marcelle_evans6 years agoSeasoned Traveler
@Bluebellflora Not @Ryguy2707 , but I'm having the same issue. Here's the screenshot showing where I changed the values to false.

Hmm, and you're having the exact same issue, not a similar one? Are those currently the SSAO values or was that after a recent update or repair?
Could you open the Config.log file in the Sims 4 folder and c/p the lines under the === Graphics device info === section? - Ryguy27076 years agoRising Rookie@Bluebellflora I can confirm that @marcelle_evans is having the exact same issue as me. We both changed all 4 SSAO values to false, which made the black boxes become fainter, but didn't get rid of them entirely.
im having the same problem even after changing all 4 ssao values, the boxes are just lighter not completely gone, turning on laptop mode gets rid of them completely but it makes my graphics bad and i hate using it

Thanks both 🙂 Which Macs do you have and, more specifically, what integrated/discrete graphics do your machines have?
