Could also try a different internet connection? Maybe hot spot off your phone to test. It's also worth running the Origin reset tool https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

i reset my origin and its still not working, could this be because of a mod?
