Things that can help with lag:

  • disable Origin in-game
  • set a lower resolution for the game window
  • don't use CC/Mods
  • lowering all graphics settings
  • having no other apps open including background apps and processes like Google Backup & Sync/Dropbox, Spotify/iTunes, Zoom/Teams/Skype, Discord/Slack

    MacBook Catalina (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015)

    1.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core M

    8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    Intel HD Graphics 5300 1536 MB

     

    I am playing the normal version, I am running the game with CC and Mods, I have tried repairing the game and I am not using any anti-viruses.

    Your Mac is real underpowered and not meant for any kind of gaming at all. It doesn't have a fan to cool it down and computers get hot when running games. This will be why it's not running the game well and it lags. Sorry ☹️
