Hey, I'm so happy you got everything worked out. I'm having the same issue on my Mac, I cleared the EA app cache, and I trying to repair my game, but now I'm getting an installation error... Any suggestions? I found my saves and tray folder and everything, but it's not coming up in game
Let's do a thorough search for save files. Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null
It may appear not to do anything and will take a while but you'll know when it's finished searching because the command prompt will reappear. If prompted to give Terminal access to various locations click Allow. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
