Just so I understand correctly -- When Origins comes out with a Mac version of the downloader, will I be able to download Mac compatible versions of the games I bought in the past, without having to run BootCamp/Windows?

That's correct. If you have them registered on your Origin account, you will only need to download Origin for Mac when it comes out, and you will have all your games ready to download and play.

So when will this magical program be avalable for mac uses?

I have a new mac now i would like to start gaming.

So, I just want to make sure I understand... I just purchased an iMac. I have previously purchased all of my Sims 3 original game and expansion packs through Origin for use on my PC. 

Are you saying that if I download Origin on my iMac, I will be able to install my Sims 3 games and EPs on my iMac at no extra charge?

Just learned the answer to my question above, after talking with an EA game advisor through chat. The license for the game and EPs is for Origin, so you can do multiple installations through the same Origin account. In other words, I can install the game on my PC laptop and my desktop i-Mac without having to purchase additional copies for the i-Mac.

Yay, EA! That is one smart, customer-friendly move!

I have just downloaded Origin for my mac, but my previously bought direct downloads aren't on it. How do I get them without buying them again?
