Switching from PC to Mac, How can I get the Sims 3 BACK onto my Mac, despite the fact that I bought it on my PC?

    Hello leviathanmisha,

    You can install Windows onto your Mac via bootcamp if you have an official copy of Windows: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/

    Otherwise, we announced recently that Origin will soon be coming to Mac, so you will be able to launch compatible games from Mac OS machines.

So, I just want to make sure I understand... I just purchased an iMac. I have previously purchased all of my Sims 3 original game and expansion packs through Origin for use on my PC. 

Are you saying that if I download Origin on my iMac, I will be able to install my Sims 3 games and EPs on my iMac at no extra charge?

    Just learned the answer to my question above, after talking with an EA game advisor through chat. The license for the game and EPs is for Origin, so you can do multiple installations through the same Origin account. In other words, I can install the game on my PC laptop and my desktop i-Mac without having to purchase additional copies for the i-Mac.

    Yay, EA! That is one smart, customer-friendly move!

      HI, I'm about the switch to Mac book as well. Can I double confirm tt it's possible to reinstall my ts3 & expansion packs frm my previous download frm origin? Just install origin and log in to install, is tt right?
