I'm having the same issue "Unable to start: Origin is currently not running. Please make sure that Origin is running before attempting to play The Sims™ 4 [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51]

    @sandras815 @aisyasrh 

    You have both posted a different error message stating that Origin is NOT running. Can you please confirm whether this is the actual message you are receiving?
