I have restarted and cleaned the Mods folder as you explained and the problem continues ☹️

A clean Sims 4 folder, not just an empty Mods folder. Please see my previous post for explanation. I did this too and it didn't help

Ok. Maybe you have an issue with your Mac. If you find the cause please post with what fixes it to help others who may have the same issue.
